Our dream was to establish well – equipped science centre for providing opportunities to children, Parents & Schools to handle science equipment’s freely. And develop their interest in science. Giving them new scientific approach. Because of lot of efforts we have achieve our dream. Anybody is welcome to visit…

We have a well-equipped science laboratory for our Science Promotion Project We conduct Science related activities for the school children in Dighi area, and also in Pune city Bhugaon, Bhukum . These include science workshops where children learn by experimenting and by group discussions. Innovative games motivate their mental ability and thus help to develop their overall personality. Science laboratory for children and women is being specially set up to create interest and awareness of science applications in day to day life in connection with health programmes, energy sources, saving water, electricity etc.

This is a unique activity carried out for children women and for all. Through this project we intend to make people aware about the application of science and technology in all walks of life. They can perform the experiments themselves, observe the demonstrations, and handle the equipments.

This will help them to understand the scientific concepts, principles and develop scientific attitude, remove misconceptions and beliefs.

We take up various programs to fulfill these Objectives :

To develop awareness about science and technology among women, children and common public.
To provide a well established Science Lab for exploring various ideas and learning through experience
To carry out science activities on large scale in schools and to provide hands on experience to school children
To enable women and specially children to develop scientific attitude
To Disseminate among the concepts of non conventional energy usage, efficient use of energy

sources, nutritious yet affordable food habits, waste and water management, environment friendliness etc.

Our Ambitious Project

Harnessing Science for Better Future of Communities

We conduct Science related activities for the school children in the Dighi area, and also in Pune city. These include Science Workshops where children learn by experimenting and by group discussions. Innovative games motivate their mental ability and thus helps to develop their over all personality. Science Laboratory for children and women is being specially set up to create interest and awareness of science applications in day to day life in connection with health programmes, energy sources, saving water, electricity etc.

Women are trained for preparation of low cost yet nutritious and healthy recipes. We organise study visits and orientation programs for women to inculcate habits of water management, energy saving and environment awareness. Audio visual shows and lectures by eminent personalities along with computer facilities are the special feature of this center.

Students participated in Science experiments. Students and teachers took training for preparing Telescope model at IUCAA Centre, Pune.
Students of Textile Designing Course visited Wool Research Organisation, Thane Sheli Mendhi Farm, Pune to study handlooms and manufacturing woolen dhurrys, blankets and shawls.
Members, students, workers of the organization observed working of Bio Gasplant (Kitchen waste), smokeless Chulha, plants grown with organic fertilizers at ARTI (Appropriate Rural Technology Institute), Phaltan.
